wordless wednesday: whites

the home stretch.

The countdown has officially started! 2 weeks from today the movers will be here packing the house! They say it will take two days to pack and load everything into the truck. I have to admit I feel very unprepared since I'm not doing any packing myself....

In the meantime we're busy settling into life with a baby! Cam was very spoiled by the Easter bunny this year.. and all of his grandparents! Here we are on Easter...

I'm painting a couple pieces of furniture this week so they are ready to use when we arrive in Atlanta! It takes way longer these days to get a project completed but it's fun to get back into it! I'm hoping to finish them up this week so I can share the before and afters!

master bedroom inspiration

I pinned this bedroom picture a few months back on pinterest and thought it was just perfect for our new master bedroom. I just love the dark gray! Our new bedroom is quite bright so I think it will work well in there without making the room too dark.

I'm looking to get two small dressers to use as nightstands so we have a little more storage space.

And this sunburst mirror from Home Depot would be perfect over the bed!

news on the homefront

big news... our house is under contract! We are so lucky that we worked out a contract in just 9 days! It's such a relief to be done with showings! And I can finally get ready for this baby to arrive... We had the inspection last week and everything seems to be moving forward for us to close at the end of April. Having actual dates really makes everything seem more real.

So we will be arriving at our new home in Atlanta on May 1st! Everything is moving along on that front too and we're so excited about the new house! I'm already busy looking for inspiration pics on pinterest! Here's a little preview of the house...
