trash to treasure

Last weekend Mr O' was going to pick up some dinner and spotted this hutch on the corner of our street. He called me right away and I just had to run down and see it! While the piece was very beat up I knew it had a lot of character and could be transformed. Here are some "before" pics. You can see how scratched up it was.




And here is the after. We liked it so much we decided to keep it. (I had planned to sell it) I absolutely loved the details of the old hardware so I cleaned them up and used a little brushed nickel spray paint on them to give them some new life!
