Chip It!

Ok, I've been staying away from the computer for the past couple of months so I might be the last person to see this but I thought I would share. I recently discovered Sherwin Williams' "Chip It!" on their website. I was looking to order some paint chips to check out some paint colors for the new house and it was exactly what I needed.

You can take any picture and Chip It! will give you the Sherwin Williams paint colors it finds in the picture. So, I used a couple inspiration pictures I found on Pinterest but didn't know the paint colors.

First up.. my nursery inspiration. The nursery is the first room I want to paint so it's all set up for the little guy. He will start sleeping in his new crib this weekend so he needs a nice space of his own. Here is what Sherwin Williams came up with...

Next up will be our bedroom. I posted this pic a few weeks ago...

And then I tried a light neutral room to find a wall color for our guest bedroom..

a week in pictures

Well, a little over a week actually. We have officially moved to Atlanta! Last week the movers came and packed our entire house.. 4 guys in about 10 hours. Amazing. It would have taken me weeks. By the end of the day it looked like this..

This guy supervised the whole process...

Then the moving truck arrived. Seriously enormous. Wednesday they loaded everything and we said goodbye to our first home.

Thursday we handed over the keys to the new owner. The weekend was spent with friends and family before making the long drive from Philly to Atlanta.

This is the current state our new place...

Cam had his first (of many) trips to IKEA! He slept the whole time.. I discovered IKEA delivery. Amazing. Seriously don't know why I haven't done this before.

Yesterday we finally got the internet and cable set up! I forgot how much I love tv. And the internet. So happy to feel connected again! Now, I'm off to unpack some more boxes. Maybe they will all be gone by the end of the year. Have a great weekend!

the home stretch.

The countdown has officially started! 2 weeks from today the movers will be here packing the house! They say it will take two days to pack and load everything into the truck. I have to admit I feel very unprepared since I'm not doing any packing myself....

In the meantime we're busy settling into life with a baby! Cam was very spoiled by the Easter bunny this year.. and all of his grandparents! Here we are on Easter...

I'm painting a couple pieces of furniture this week so they are ready to use when we arrive in Atlanta! It takes way longer these days to get a project completed but it's fun to get back into it! I'm hoping to finish them up this week so I can share the before and afters!
