I'm always looking for inspiring painted furniture for new ideas... I tend to paint everything the same color, (white) so I try to find pictures of some colors I like or different pieces I wouldn't have thought to paint. Here are a few of my favorites...

friday finds: San Diego
These shabby chic style nightstands area so cute and only $69! The seller, Vicki Shabby has a ton of other cute stuff too. Here are some more pictures.
This vintage style armoire has serious potential. A little paint and some new knobs and it would be great storage for a bedroom!
These parsons chairs may be hideous, but at only $75 for a set of four you could invest in some gorgeous slipcovers!
I love the legs on this kitchen table. For only $50 it also comes with three chairs!
I just love this vintage wash stand. I of course would paint it a creamy white and use a stunning glass knob on it.. And it's a total steal for only $28!

atlanta finds: shopping edition
At the top of my shopping list was Ballard's Backroom..a great clearance center for Ballard Designs. I was really at a loss for this one since I couldn't fit any furniture on the plane with me. The discounts were amazing! And you all know how much I adore Ballard.
Next up was Simply Home. An adorable cottage looking store with refinished furniture and a lot of white. I took a couple pictures of pieces I loved.. a must hit located in Buckhead.
This cream chandelier was gorgeous....
I'm always looking for one of these sleigh day beds to paint.. I love the cream and white linens with the burlap pillows!
I came across this vintage sign store in Chamblee... home of Antique Row.
One of my favorite stores is Nadeau. If you haven't heard of them before check out their website. They have a bunch of locations and sell unique furniture from all over the world at wholesale prices. It was open to the trade only but is not a retail store as well. I LOVED this painted china cabinet. I would tend to paint it in the reverse with the color on the inside.. but may have to try one this way!
