quick project

A few weeks ago I picked three of these pint size mason jars from an antique store. I had been wanting to get one to use as a soap pump in my kitchen. I used the instructions Heather posted and it was super easy!

After washing them out Mr O' helped me drill a 1 inch hole into each of lids. Then I used some Gorilla Glue Epoxy to attach the soap pump.

Here it is in my kitchen! I just love them. Such a great, quick project. If you don't want to try it for yourself I have the two others for sale in my etsy store.

  1. Now that is a great idea! Where did you put the others...can't help but wonder! :)

  2. I love that and I am going to get my collection out. Where did you get the soap pump? Dollar Tree?

  3. So cute! Love these! We did the mason jar lanterns on our porch and have so many left over. This is on the project list. Thanks for the cute idea!
Feel free to link to our party as well!

  5. These are super cute! Love the blue glass. I will be featuring this on my blog tomorrow!

  6. question....can you do this with regular "modern" ball jars? I can a lot in the spring and I have tons of ball jars but they have the two piece tops. I don't see antique ball jars in our area much.

  7. Jan - these are adorable! I want to make one! What a great job! Thank you so much for sharing! ;)

  8. I LOVE THAT LOOK. Thanks so much for sharing your tutorial with the DIY Club.
