diy fleur de lis pillows

So I might have a slight obsession with burlap. Ever since I made these stockings for Christmas I've been trying to use it whenever possible. I just love the vintage/rustic look it has and it's so cheap!

For these pillows I wanted to add a little something to make them more interesting. So after cutting out two pieces of fabric to make the pillows from I stenciled on a fleur de lis with some burnt umber paint.

So easy and they came out great!

Next I reversed the painted fabric and sewed three of edges together on my sewing machine. I left the bottom one open so I could get the pillow inside. I then just did a quick stich at the bottom to finish it up!
